This page explains which personal data MesaWeb processes through this website and why.
If you write to us, we store your name, email and message so we can reply. We do not use them for anything else or share them with third parties.
These are sent directly from your own WhatsApp; this website does not store that data.
We count visits anonymously on our own server, without cookies and without storing your IP address.
This website does not use tracking cookies. That is why there is no cookie banner.
The map in the contact section is served by Google Maps; Google’s privacy terms apply when it loads.
You can ask us to view, correct or delete your data by writing to info@mesaweb.nl.
The MesaWeb app is for owners of restaurants with a MesaWeb website, not for their guests. This is what it processes:
Your email and password to sign in (the password is stored only as a hash); your device name and a notification token; the texts, prices and photos of your menu and daily menu. The app also shows you the messages guests send through your website form (name, email and message).
Only so you can manage your website and be notified of new messages. What you publish in your menu appears on your public website. The camera and photos are only used when you choose a photo.
If you use the menu scan or automatic translation, the photo or text is sent to Anthropic, which processes it with AI and may do so outside the EU. Scan photos are not stored on our server.
Our servers are in Germany (Hetzner). Apple (iPhone) and Google (Android) deliver the notifications, without your guests’ data. We do not sell your data.
The app contains no advertising, tracking or analytics.
A session expires after 90 days without use and after one year at most. Signing out deletes the token and the device. You can view and sign out your devices in the app. Your account data is kept while you are a customer.
Write to info@mesaweb.es and we delete your account and its data, except what we must keep by law.
